Chiropractor in Delhi – Chiropractic Treatment for Back Pain, Neck Pain & Sciatica
If back pain, neck stiffness or sciatica is limiting your work, sleep or daily routine, a proper assessment is the first step. At Physio Adviser India, our chiropractors in Delhi examine your spine, joints and movement before recommending any treatment, because the same pain can have very different causes in different people.
Chiropractic care at our clinics is hands-on and assessment-based. Where suitable, we combine joint mobilisation or manipulation with exercise, posture correction and rehabilitation, so the goal is not only short-term relief but also better movement and fewer relapses.
Meet Our Chiropractic Team in Delhi
Chiropractic treatment is a hands-on approach used to assess and manage certain musculoskeletal and movement-related problems, particularly those involving the spine and joints. Depending on the patient’s condition, treatment may involve controlled manual techniques along with exercises and movement-based rehabilitation.
Chiropractic care may be considered for selected cases of back pain, neck discomfort, joint stiffness, mobility restrictions, certain sports-related problems, and other musculoskeletal concerns. A proper assessment is important before deciding whether chiropractic treatment is appropriate.

What Is Chiropractic Treatment?
Chiropractic treatment is a hands-on approach used to assess and manage problems of the spine and joints, such as back pain, neck pain and stiffness. A chiropractor uses techniques like joint mobilisation and, where appropriate, controlled spinal adjustments (the “crack” some people hear) to improve joint movement and reduce pain.
It is not a cure-all and it is not right for everyone. Research suggests spinal manipulation can give modest relief to some people with low back pain and neck pain, and it generally works best when combined with exercise and education. That is why we never start treatment without a full assessment.
Chiropractic vs Physiotherapy: What Is the Difference?
| Chiropractic | Physiotherapy | |
|---|---|---|
| Main focus | Spine and joint movement | Whole-body movement, strength and function |
| Typical tools | Joint mobilisation and adjustments | Exercise, manual therapy, electrotherapy, rehab |
| Best for | Joint stiffness, certain back and neck pain | Recovery, strengthening, post-surgery and long-term management |
At Physio Adviser India you do not have to choose. Our therapists are trained in both, so your plan can combine hands-on joint treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation under one roof.
Conditions We Assess and Treat with Chiropractic Care in Delhi
Back Pain
Back pain can come from stiff joints, muscle strain, long sitting hours or posture habits. After assessment, suitable patients may be treated with joint mobilisation or adjustments along with mobility and strengthening exercises.
Neck Pain and Stiffness
Screen use, poor workstation setup and muscle tension often contribute to neck pain and headaches that start from the neck. Treatment may include gentle mobilisation, posture correction and neck and shoulder strengthening. We use low-force techniques for the neck and screen carefully before any neck treatment.
Sciatica
Pain travelling from the lower back to the buttock or leg can have several causes. Evidence for chiropractic care in sciatica is mixed, so we first identify the cause. Where appropriate, treatment is combined with nerve mobility work, exercise and activity guidance.
Slipped (Herniated) Disc
Many disc problems improve with time and the right rehabilitation, but chiropractic adjustments are not suitable for every slipped disc. We check your neurological signs first. If you have significant weakness, numbness or bladder or bowel changes, you need urgent medical evaluation, not an adjustment.
Posture and Desk-Job Problems
Long sitting, driving and laptop use are common causes of stiffness in Delhi’s working population. We assess posture and movement, then give a plan covering treatment, exercises and ergonomic changes.
Sports and Activity-Related Pain
For gym, running and sports-related joint and spine problems, chiropractic care is combined with sports rehabilitation to help you return to activity gradually.
Our Chiropractic Techniques in Delhi
Which technique we use depends on your condition, age, comfort and assessment findings. Not every technique suits every patient.
- Joint mobilisation: slow, controlled movements to improve joint motion. Usually the first choice, especially for neck and older patients.
- Spinal manipulation (adjustment): a quick, controlled technique used only when appropriate and with your consent.
- Soft tissue and manual therapy: for muscle tightness and movement restriction around the joint.
- Therapeutic exercise and mobility training: to hold the improvement and reduce the chance of the pain returning.
- Posture and ergonomic guidance: practical changes for your desk, driving and sleeping habits.
What Happens in Your First Visit?
- History: we ask about your pain, past injuries, medical history, medicines and daily routine.
- Examination: posture, joint movement, muscle strength and neurological checks. Please bring any MRI, X-ray or reports you have.
- Explanation: we tell you what we think is causing the problem and whether chiropractic care is suitable. If it is not, we say so and guide you to the right care.
- Treatment: gentle hands-on treatment if appropriate, plus exercises you can do at home.
- Plan: a clear plan with expected number of sessions and review points.
How Many Sessions Will You Need?
It depends on your condition and how long you have had it. Recent, simple problems often need fewer sessions, while long-standing pain usually needs a longer plan with exercises. We review progress every few sessions and adjust or stop treatment if it is not helping.
Is Chiropractic Treatment Safe? Who Should Not Have Adjustments?
When it is done by trained practitioners after a proper assessment, serious side effects are rare. Mild soreness or stiffness for a day or so after treatment is common. Because no treatment is risk-free, we screen every patient and do not perform adjustments if you have:
- Recent fracture, suspected fracture or major trauma
- Severe osteoporosis
- History of cancer with new unexplained spinal pain
- Signs of spinal infection or fever with back pain
- Progressive leg weakness, numbness in the groin or saddle area, or loss of bladder or bowel control (go to a hospital emergency immediately)
- Certain neck or circulatory problems found during screening
In these cases we refer you for medical evaluation first.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What does a chiropractor do?
A chiropractor assesses spine and joint problems and uses hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation and adjustments, along with exercise and posture advice, to reduce pain and improve movement.
Is chiropractic treatment painful?
Most patients find it comfortable. You may feel pressure, and some people feel mild soreness for a day afterwards. We stop or change the technique if anything is uncomfortable.
What is the cracking sound during an adjustment?
It is usually gas releasing from the joint fluid when the joint is moved. The sound itself does not mean the treatment worked or that anything was put back in place.
Is chiropractic treatment safe?
It is generally considered safe for suitable patients when done by trained practitioners after screening, but it is not suitable for everyone. That is why assessment comes first.
Does chiropractic help sciatica?
It may help in some cases, depending on the cause, but evidence is mixed. We find the cause first and usually combine treatment with exercises.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Many people see a response within the first few sessions, but long-standing problems take longer. We review progress regularly and tell you honestly if treatment is not helping.
What is the difference between a chiropractor and a physiotherapist?
Chiropractors focus mainly on joint and spine movement using manual techniques. Physiotherapists work more broadly on strength, function and rehabilitation. Our team is trained in both and combines them when needed.
Should I bring my MRI or X-ray?
Yes, bring any scans and reports. They help us decide whether chiropractic care is suitable, but treatment decisions are based on your examination, not only on the scan
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is needed for an assessment. If we find signs that need medical attention, we will refer you.
